Hullo, deviants! Since I'm new here, I thought I'd tell you a little bit about myself.

I'm Linlin, a rising sophomore at a small liberal arts school in the Midwest. I don’t know what I want to major in, but I want to become a teacher after I graduate.

I’ve studied Chinese for seven years, but I’m nowhere near fluent.

I am the costumer, make-up artist, hair stylist, and all-around designer for a local theatre troupe, called "Shots in the Dark."

I also enjoy ballroom and Latin dance, SCUBA diving, and learning about anything and everything that strikes my fancy.

I am bisexual.

I am part of the LGBT civil rights movement. I believe a person should be treated as a person regardless of race, religion, gender identification, or sexual orientation.

I have never heard a legitimate, legal reason why same-sex marriage should be banned. (The Bible doesn’t count because *psst* the US isn’t a theocracy in which the regulations of one religion are forced on the entirety of society by laws that all citizens are bound to obey.)

I strongly disapprove of the use of the terms “faggot” and “dyke,” or any other derogatory slurs, even when used jokingly. I also disapprove of the phrase, “That’s so gay.” I find it offensive—somewhat like saying, “That’s so black,” or “That’s so Christian,” or “That’s so loser who watches YouTube videos all the time.”

I’m in a very happy relationship with a wonderful, crazy man.

I love roses. They’re my favorite (as you can probably tell from my avatar >.<.

I’m obsessed with the television shows Doctor Who and Torchwood. (Omigod, David Tennant! *drool*) I also love Scrubs.

I cut my own hair.

My friends call me a “grammar Nazi.”

I always lose when I play my friends at Ten Fingers.

My favorite color changes with my mood, but recently it has been red.

I recently discovered a new vice: online shopping.

I am a HUGE procrastinator; really, I’ve made it an art.

I really can’t think of anything else. Yeah, I think that’s about it.
